I began my carpentry education/career with hands on experience at the age of 12 years old. Learning carpentry and fine woodworking at an early age. Initially from my father, who designed and nearly single handedly built the house I grew up in, in the Hollywood Hills. That experience fueled my drive for hands on creative expression, and taught me that mediocrity was never an option. Through the years, I have been involved in some great projects. From remodeling restaurants, homes and apartments, to designing and fabricating furniture, architectural elements and signs for businesses. Beginning in 1973, I hand painted a sign for a Real Estate business. Between my carpentry jobs, I took on more and more sign painting work. Eventually, I established a business in San Francisco. I became proficient at graphic and sign designing, and fabrication of most types of signage. In the late 90's I returned to my carpentry roots in Los Angeles, and haven't looked back since. I still have a few good years left in this business, and I'm always looking forward to the next challenge.
With over 40 years of hands on experience, I still have that insatiable desire to strive for perfection.
